About twenty years ago I composed a melody for a waltz. Written as a love song, I never completed it ,nor gave it to my girlfriend at the time as I had intended to. When I found the sketch a couple of months ago I thought, "I should orchestrate this for full orchestra as a compositional exercise. This is the virtual orchestra version. While an actual orchestra of course would sound much better, at least these sound samples gives composers an idea of what the final product might sound like. The fact is that many composers will never get the opportunity to hear many of their pieces performed due to practical and/or financial reasons, so I am grateful for these technologies. I wanted to share it with you all. Even though it is not sacred music, there is a spirit of joy in it which I hope you will enjoy. Blessings!
